FM_HeatSink

2015
I began writing and producing orginal electronic music under the name FM_HeatSink.  The name is derived from the name I used to disc jockey under during the 1990's, DJ HeatSink.

2015-2018
Self taught fundamentals of music production and theory. Built a home studio, Ghost Pepper Studios, and released songs on Soundcloud. Built a modular synthesizer and learned FM, additive, subtractive synthesis, and sound design. Joined up with online production/publishing collaboration platform hitREcord. Became member of the American Composer Forum and Minnesota Music Coalition. Began writing orchestral composition.

2018 October
Accepted a public gig in which inspired the creation of a cohesive collection of new material. Sold off the modular synthesizer for a Novation Peak. Expanded software libraries for composing.

2019 - Current
Composed a new set of music for live performance and began to book shows around the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Wrote a science based orchestral movement that became an instant hit with audiences. Began to accept work for hire with the composition of 8 cues for a theatrical play.
